Applications: Drainage, Flood Control, Driveways or Storm Sewer

Lonestar Highway Products can provide Corrugated Metal Pipe for uses in Drainage, Flood Control and Sewer Systems.

It is economical, strong and durable. The pipe is usually fabricated 20 foot sections; however, it can be fabricated in any length up to 40 feet, offering the contractor flexibility and ease of installation not found with other types of pipe.

Diameters range from 6 inches to 12 feet and in thickness from 18 gauge (.052) to 10 gauge (.13). The span and depth of corrugation vary with the diameter and guage of the pipe, the most common being one-half inch (depth) two and two thirds inch (span, crest to crest). For larger pipe (48 inches and up) a deeper corrugation (one inch by three inches) is available for additional strength.

Applications: Sanity Sewers, Storm Drains, Culverts, Jacked or Tunneled Systems

Lonestar Highway Products can provide Reinforced Concrete Pipe from 12″ through 72″.

Strength classes are available from II to III to IV to V and “special design” to meet project load requirements.

Concrete pipe continues to be the choice when durability, structural integrity, 100 year design life, constant hydraulic efficiency, and low maintenance are considered. The strength of concrete pipe also plays an important role in a bedding and backfill requirements. Because concrete pipe also acts as a structure it is less dependent on the soil placed around it. Concrete pipe won’t rust, buckle, split, deflect, deteriorate, burn, pollute, waste energy or loose it’s hydraulic capacity.

Specifications:

ASTM C76 – Standard specification for reinforced concrete culverts, storm drains and sewer pipe

ASTM C443 – Standard specifications for joints, for circular concrete storm sewer and culvert pipe, using rubber gaskets

ASTM C655 – Standard specification for reinforced concrete de-load culvert, storm drain and sewer pipe

AASHTO M170 – Standard specification for reinforced de-load culvert, storm drain and sewer pipe

ASTM C506 – Standard specification for reinforced arch culvert, storm drain and sewer pipe
